Terms of Service — Calculatly Calculator Use Rules

Calculatly provides free online calculators for everyday informational purposes — including health, finance, math, date and time, unit conversion, and general utility tools. The Service is provided without charge and without requiring an account.

We may add, change, or remove calculators and features at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular tool will remain available or unchanged.

Calculatly does not provide medical, financial, tax, legal, or other professional advice. All results are for general informational and educational purposes only.

• Health calculators (BMI, growth percentiles, body fat, etc.) are not a diagnosis and do not replace a doctor or clinician
• Finance calculators (mortgage, tax estimates, paycheck, etc.) are approximations and may not reflect your actual situation
• Any decision with significant consequences should be made with a qualified professional who knows your full circumstances

We work to keep calculators accurate and up to date, using standard formulas and publicly available reference data. However:

• Results may be rounded, estimated, or simplified for clarity
• Tax brackets, growth charts, and other reference data change over time and may lag behind official sources
• Your inputs, browser, or device may affect how results are displayed
• Software bugs or errors may occur despite our testing

You are responsible for verifying important results against authoritative sources before relying on them.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service at a rate or volume that impairs performance
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service except as permitted by law

• Misrepresent your affiliation with Calculatly or imply endorsement where none exists

We may suspend or block access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

The Service — including its design, text, graphics, logos, calculator logic, and compilation of content — is owned by Calculatly or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from substantial portions of the Service without our prior written permission, except where fair use or applicable law allows.

The Service may display advertisements and links to third-party websites or services, including affiliate links. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALCULATLY AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO, AS THE SERVICE IS FREE) OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calculatly and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be noted on the site. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
